    Galapagos Penguins and Their Lifestyle
    Galapagos Penguin is one of the smallest penguins around the world as its length ranges from 16 to 18 inches and weighs no more than 5-6 pounds. Along with its physical size, the breeding population too is very small having just around 1000 pairs worldwide. Few are found around the equator, while majority of them are toward the extreme north of the planet. Although it can found in many parts of Galapagos Islands, almost 90% of them can be spotted in isles of Isabela and Fernandina. Their diminutive features are designed attractively by nature. A thin black line starts from the throat, encircles the head, and meets at the corners of their eyes.
