Who do not love to explore the natural settings and watery beauties? Most of the people in this world plan their vacation at the places where they can spend some memorable and pleasant time by relaxing in the spectacularly beautiful, natural attractions. This time, being a nature fanatic and a traveller, I went to explore the amazing Key Largo. Key Largo is the northern-most island of the Florida Keys island chain.
When it comes about Florida Keys, people love to visit and explore the magnificence of the place. Today, Florida Keys is a popular tourist destination, especially for the Americans who look for a tropical vacation and do not want to move out of their country. In fact, the Florida Keys is considered as the American Caribbean, as it features almost every amenity like the other island destinations. It boasts excellent sport fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, boating, kayaking, sailing, and of course, eco-tours.

The moment I drove towards the southern direction from Miami with my friends, we encountered the first awesome area known as Key Largo. Key Largo is the longest, largest, and the easternmost island that increases the pride of Florida Keys chain. Florida Keys extends from the MM 90 to MM 106 and is measured as per Mile Markers. Towards the northern side of Key Largo is the Florida Bay and towards the south we experienced the Florida Straits along with the Atlantic Ocean. I can’t stop saying repeatedly that the vacation to the Key Largo and the Florida Keys was breathtaking and great.
I have always wished to visit a place that could completely lure me out and make me feel like living in a heaven. Moreover, this was not less than a heaven. Well, the experience of beaches at the site was something weird. Where the Florida beaches could be found wide and sandy, the Florida Keys is completely different. It has living reef, which extends to a certain distance and is the only living reef that could be found in the continental United States. A major part of the Key Largo is the protect land and left unsettled. This land holds Crocodile Lake National Wildlife Refuge, which is of 6,800-acre hardwood hammock and is the main breeding ground for the endangered crocodiles of America. The area is closed to the public, so we just took a long view of it and satisfied ourselves.
Key Largo’s major business is diving and the divers get attracted to its John Pennekamp Coral Reef Park, which is the first underwater park in the entire United States. Well, no doubt, the John Pennekamp Coral Reef Park is the major attraction of the Key Largo. This are offers everything to the divers to get fascinated like the dive packages, scuba equipment and lessons, and of course, great accommodations. Key Largo has a charm that draws everyone’s attention towards it and so the celebrities as well. Former President George Bush is the regular visitor and also a fishing angler.

Key Largo is packed with the watery wilderness of the Everglades National Park towards the western side. It also boasts the fish roofed coral creations of the only living coral barrier reef of the North America towards the eastern direction. Various movies have been filmed at the area to get the views of the wildlife in the Key Largo. After exploring and wandering for the whole day, we relaxed for few hours at a bar during night. There are many fine restaurants, hotels, bars, motels, and resorts are available. So accommodation is not at all a problem for the tourists.

The first and last attraction of the Florida Keys is a great destination one has ever experienced anywhere else in the world. Key Largo is a perfect place full of enthusiasm and will always gear me up through the magnificent memories of my vacation.
