The Ilha de Santa Catarina is a beautiful land with the best sights of beach pleasures and the most fascinating experiences in beach travels. With a beautiful coastline and ideal travel pleasures, the Ilha de Santa Catarina is a place which has some of the best rugged cliffs and the most exotic locales to enthrall a tourist coming here in seek of pleasure.

With the calm, serene and tranquil ambience here the crowded bays in the north ensure that you get the ideal travel pleasures and make you want to comeback here for more. But one intriguing part about this place is that it is not the beaches that make this land enchanting; it is the beautiful surroundings of the pine forests here that make you weak with travel ecstasy and pleasure. The eastern coastal line is lined with a beautiful line of pine trees which look really enchanting. Also there are the Praia da Joaquina dunes which are popular here, and these look vibrant with the lunar landscape that they create. The Atlantic rainforest is another beautiful sight coupled with the beautiful Lagoa da Conceicao. Florianopolis is the political capital of the Santa Catarina region and is also known as the gateway to the Lagoa region. This city is also the capital of the southern part of the continent of Brazil.

The best beaches here lie on the eastern coast and the surfers surely enjoy their water pleasures here. Santa Catarina is so much a part of Florianopolis that people normally refer to the Ilha De Santa Catarina when they are talking about Florianopolis. The city itself is fondly known as Floripa. Ilha de Santa CAtarina is actually a great microcosm and has extremely attractive sights and the variety of the sights is what makes the entire experience very enchanting. The rolling hills and the lusciousness of the Atlantic forests is what makes the whole pleasure of a travel to Santa Catarina so enjoyable. The lagoons here add to the visual treat and the stunning beauty of the beaches are only a part of the experience here. So after the hustle and bustle of the daily life, the beautiful fishing villages that line this region only makes you come back here for more such pleasures.

As you enjoy the beach experience you can also occasionally see the pescadores take in the fresh fish for the day and also enjoy the taste of these prized catches as they are given to us after they are cooked , enjoying the sights of the sea here and the surroundings.

The best part of the entire experience is the fact that the roads here on the island are very well maintained and the transport service here is also equally good. Explore the beaches here and just be content to bask in the sun kissed beach lands with the sights of the gentle waves lashing the beach shores. The northern and the eastern coasts are the best sights and as you explore the entire area, the experience is even better.

Florianopolis is accessed by air and also by road. The way to reach Ilha de Santa Catarina is through Florianopolis. So there are flights which bring tourists to Florianopolis from Sao Paulao, Rio, Porto Alegre and Curitiba.

Also known as the “Magic Island” and has a great collection of more than 42 beaches so just enjoy these warm waters where thousands of Argentines come and enjoy the beauty of the praias or beaches, which are also considered the best in this part of the world. Scuba diving, parasailing, surfing and sailing are some of the best water activities here and tourists also enjoy the lovely nature walks which are wonderful in the backdrop of the ocean.

Come to the beautiful surroundings of the Brazilian regions and bask your pleasures in the Ilha Grande located a liitle off the Rio De Janeiro coast. Be a part of this exotic travel luxury and get surrounded by ideal tourists’ pleasures. These greatly undeveloped island regions are popular for the loveliest scenic sights and most interesting zones of the tropical regions. With a dense vegetation and a rugged terrain, this island is surely a favourite of all those who visit here and it is also a unique holiday spot in this part of the world. With the Pico da Pedra D’Agua as its highest point, this was a prison once but today is a greatly picturesque land.

One of the most beautiful remains of the rainforest zones of the Brazilian portion of the Atlantic, the place holds one of the best ecosystems in the entire world and is a great amalgamation of conservation and biodiversity. Some of the most endangered species still are found here so be ready to get sights of the red ruffed fruit crow, the manned sloth, the brown howler monkey and the broad snouted Caiman. The islands are surrounded by the crystal clear sea waters and the entire ambience is like a garden of Eden on earth. The marine life is of the sub tropical, temperate and tropical kind and provides great travel ecstasy when the sight of tropical fish and corals are seen along with the southern right whales and Magellanic penguins.

The Ilha Grande State Park is a protected zone here and has the most favorable facilities for eco tourism. The island is without roads thus making the experience even more thrilling and the cars wouldn’t even dare to enter this ecotourism hub. There are more than 150 km of trails and treks here and the tourists love to come here and enjoy this adventure escapade in this part of the world. There are catamarans and local ferries which are the main source of transport from mainland to village.

Meaning the Big Island, the Ilha Grande has enthralled visitors from times immemorial. This is the third largest Brazilian island and has the most eye catching views and the best kind of tropical scenery. The hills here are covered with dense forests and there are few remains of he Mata Atalantica ecosystem here.

Tourists coming to Ilha Grande should remember that there are no banks here and there is no facility of cars. So before they land in the island it is better they get cash and then subject themselves to hours of relaxation, loads of fun and tonnes of travel ecstasies. While here you would surely love to go to and fro to the mainland with the ferries that are so frequent here. There are buses which depart from Rio every hour taking you to the island region.

Visit the Isla Magdalena national park and get enchanted with the surroundings of this lovely locale in Chile in the Magallanes Region. A total treat for all those who wish to see Mother Nature at her best, this is a region to be visited.

Visit the Isla Magdalena national park which spans over an area of around 1576 square kilometers and is a totally protected area in the Magdalena Island in the Patagonian region of South America. It was in the year 1967, that this place got recognized as a Forest Reserve and then in the year 1983, it got reclassified as a National park.

Go to islands like the Puerto Gaviota which are very noteworthy here, besides of course the range of smaller islands that dot the entire place. The Atilio Island lies in the north and is quite large in size.

Enjoy the sights of the variety of sea birds like the penguins and beautiful cormorants which are so much a feature of this lovely Garden of Eden. With the moderate kind of vegetation here the Isla Magdelana offers an average climate to the tourists coming to South America.

With the ports of Puerto Cisnes and the Puerto Puyuhuapi located nearby, the Isla Magdelana is approached from these ports. However the basic infrastructure is not there in the Magdelana.

With fascinatingly beautiful surroundings and cherishable locales, tours in South America certainly become more interesting with places such as these. It was in the year 1982 that Isla Magdelana was declared a national monument along with the Marta Island nearby. The Magellanic penguin is famous here and the entire region has a lot of penguins around.

Mentolat Volcano is the highest point of the park at a height of around 1660 m or 5446 feet.

There are very many interesting things to do in the Isla Magdalena in Chile. See the lighthouse here and walk up the hill to reach this structure. This lighthouse is in working condition and helps the ships with their way in the Magellan Strait. There are many historical articles inside and it is interesting to go up the winding stairs to the top.

Then of course bird watchers come here in plenty just to see the innumerable sea birds that so are a part of this place. They come here, lay their eggs and excite the interests of the bird watchers. See the Kelp Gulls come here and it is amusing to see their furry babies accompany them. The gulls are almost as large as the penguins are. The penguins in turn take care of their chicks and thus the entire sight is really intriguing and enthralling.

See the path which is a lane provided only for the people to walk on. Tourists love to see the way it has been constructed.

See the birds lay eggs here and see the nests covering them and then finally the eggs hatching. The eggs are laid the entire incubation is around 39 to 42 days. The parents share shifts in keeping them warm and if you are lucky enough you could see them hatch.

A very interesting sight here is to see the penguins swim. The penguins enjoy swimming and also swim when they search for food. It is very amusing and adorable to see the penguins changing their parental shift. The shifts are changed at 10 in the morning and 5 in the evening.

Situated near the Paracas town in the district of Paracas in the Pisco Province of the Ica Region lies a beautiful paradise which is surely a favourite of all travel enthusiasts. Lying to the south of Peru, this area is mainly composed of great formations of rock and spans an area of 0.12 square kilometers. Housing the best kind of flora and fauna, this is a place that is as intriguing as it is interesting. Some of the best species include the guanay guano bird, the tendril and the blue footed booby. The Humboldt Penguins and the sea lions and the fur seals are also found here.

Easily accessed from the Paracas town, by boat, the place is around two hours from here. There are sea lions visible while on the boat ride and this in itself is a major attraction for all the tourists. In fact, the sea lions are responsible for a great spectacle with their wolf cries. The cries echo around the entire area of Ballestas and have a greatly resounding effect.

The wildlife here is enough reason why tourists might not want to halt and stay here. The other attraction here is the El Candelabro drawing on the hill that overlooks the Paracas Bay. This is a large scale Geoglyph which has been used as a beacon by many mariners. It is not known how this Geoglyph originated.

Visit the town of Pisco and enjoy the taste of the grape brandy for which this region is famous for. This is what makes the interesting cocktail Pisco Sour. There is very little rainfall here in this land and the small oasis visible here have housed life for many thousands of years.

The Paracas and the Ballestas Islands form a part of the itinerary of the tourists who visit the Galapagos Islands and the surrounding areas. The Paracas national park near the island are full of wildlife and provide an amazingly interesting sight. So you would find the penguins, the sea lions and the birds here in plenty. Pelicans are also found in great numbers and they look beautiful lining the entire shore near the pier. Speedboats take you around the islands.

The tourists enjoy the fascinating sights of the dolphins that jump out of the water. It is exciting to see them playfully bounce around in the waters. Ballestas Islands provides this and more for all tourists who come here from an ecotourism angle. This is a well known island in the coast of Peru.

So all those travellers who come on a Peru vacation surely make it a point to the Islas Ballestas where you could find the best collection of rocky islands and a collection of around 600,000 birds. The sight of these birds is a truly enchanting sight. Anyone coming to Lima would reach the Ballestas Islands which is just a four hour drive from this place. There are guides who help you to go around the place and give you a lot of information about the species of plants and animals here. This island is best visited in the morning when the sea is quite calm. There are various environmental laws which do not allow the tourists to land on the Ballestas islands so make it a point to go here on a boat cruise.

Thus the Ballestas Islands is a great place to visit in this part of Peru travel.

With beautiful surroundings and a virgin ambience, Venezuela is certainly a hub for tourist pleasures. With an amalgamation of flora and fauna Venezuela is the right place to be in during a holiday. The regions here are very interesting and appealing to the eye so La Blanquilla doesn’t come as a surprise to the tourist. This fan shaped island that is made up predominantly of sand and limestone is a great dream destination for all the tourists who want to get the adventurous feel of being in an island. The milky white sands of the beaches here and the beautiful glassy pools all lend delight to the eye and the Caribbean cruises couldn’t get better with such destinations in the itinerary. The white island as it is also known as, the alabaster beaches come with the double excitement of enjoying the shimmering sands here. This is greatly an unspoilt Venezuelan beauty and has the best support of the federal dependencies too. These federal dependencies are the islands that lie off shore and provide the ideal travel luxury in this part of the world. So the Western Caribbean Sea comes alive in this pristine locale and all tourists love to come here even though it is not greatly inhabited apart from the local day tripping fishermen.

This beach offers the best facilities for snorkeling and diving and has all the material to make it a great travel destination. With the undersea wall only around 20m offshore, the remote nature of the island makes it s much preferred spot. Besides the marine life here is greatly attractive and the place is abundant with a lot of adventurous escapades. Add to it the exciting thrill of seeing the reefs here surrounding the entire island. The rare black coral is very popularly found here and all sea lovers would love to see the French angelfish, blueheads, balloon fish, porcupine, queen and red lipped blenny and the princess parrot fish notwithstanding the flying fish.

La Blanquilla has its own share of beautiful birds like the owls and the parrots. Besides, one can see the hermit crabs, the lizards, the iguanas, the wild donkeys and many kinds of wild animals here. Tourists love to take the chartered boat to this island and it is not very often that you would find a sailboat here. But if you do see here you can see the sailboats amongst the coves in the Americano Bay. It is also a rule here in Venezuela that a boat can be occupied by you only after the authorities have given permission for the same.

There are some rules to be followed if you want to explore this island completely. So make sure you wear your shoes and socks properly as you will find the cactus plant all over.

South America is a hub of natural locales, beautiful ambience, perfect surroundings and the most exotic islands. Located on the Guanamara Bay a little to the outside of the lovely city of Rio De Janeiro, is located the Paqueta Islands., The city of Rio De Janeiro is widely popular for its pristine beaches, great party scene and exciting outdoor tours. But this aspect of a Rio de Janeiro tour is something you should experience to believe it.

So while in Rio de Janeiro, take a boat with the city folk or the cariocas and go to Paqueta. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city visit this 1 square kilometre island is a no vehicles zone. So get a feel of Brazil when it was in the 19th century. This was actually a great retreat for the Portuguese aristocrats earlier. Nothing much has changed since then anyway for there are no cars allowed here. So you can still hear the sound of the horses’ hoofs driving the carriages along and the beautiful scene of people cycling their way through. With the most enchanting buildings of the colonial era, the homes here also have a historic feel about them. Lots of bougainvillea and great verdant surroundings and your travel destination is ready here at Paqueta. Royal palms and beautiful elegant coconut trees dominate the landscape and the groves of mango and breadfruit are a cherry on the pie called Paqueta. Then you also have the Africa tree baobab which is locally here known as Maria Gorda or Fat Mary.

Amongst the 130 islands in the bay of Guanabara in the Rio de Janeiro region, the beaches here are the major tourist attractions. Around 11 small beaches are found here. Locals come here and enjoy swimming; the waters here have been polluted due to constant industrialization. Swimming is risky here so many tourists like to fish here. But yes, sunbathing is not a bad option and is popular here amongst tourists. With the best views of scenic beauty, the bay seemingly comes to life with the mountains providing the perfect background.

Paqueta was the summer home for the Dom Jaoa VI the king of Portugal which was then Brazil. This king was on an exile here with his family during the time France invaded Portugal. Then these two sons rebelled in Brazil and won the independence for Portugal in the year 1825. Pedro the first son was incidentally the first Brazilian emperor.

The months of April to November are the best times to visit this land. Tourists come here on weekends and enjoy the ferry ride to this beautiful paradise. These ferries leave from Praca XV. There are 80 minute ferries and there are those which are fast rides too. These fast ferries are called hydrofoils. Going by foot is the best way to go around the island. You could hire a bike or a horse. A buggy is also available for going around giving you the old fashioned experience.

Paqueta, the island paradise has a great festival the St.Peter’s festivity, which is in honour of the saint of the fishermen, St.Peters.Though the fishing industry is not really active here yet the festival is still celebrated.

One of the best ways of spending a holiday is to go to pristine islands around in this part of the world. Visit South America and get to know the best ways you could unleash your holiday pleasures. Amidst the luscious surroundings of the best kinds of islands, this is one land which you shouldn’t miss for the simple ambience and the magnificent background.

Rio de Janeiro is popular among tourists as the destination of wild beaches and ultimate parties. But this place is also known for its beautiful, calm archipelago that lies just around 3 km from the coast of the Ipanema beach. The Cagarras Islands are one such group of islands which form an ideal travel destination for a travel enthusiast. Known as Ilhas Cagarras, this is a place which is a hub of wildlife and also famous for the beautiful sea gulls and the marine birds. Come here to these brilliant surroundings and try to spot a bird or swim along with the other graceful animal that is found here – the dolphins.

There are five islands which form this beautiful archipelago and the luscious surroundings coupled with the terrific landscape make this a preferred destination for many. There are deposits of vegetation and guano which have been deposited from the sea. The Cagarras Island is the tallest in this archipelago going up to a height of around 79 metres. The island has huge rocks with a steep terrain and the diversity of flora found here totally complements the plethora of fauna. From marine avifauna, to boobies, from sea gulls to frigate birds, the Cagarras Island is a hubbub of such natural fauna and thus is also the most popular.

Then there is the Ilha das Palmas which is another island in this archipelago and derives its name from the dense growth of palm trees here. This island incidentally is the greenest zone of the archipelago and is the place where all tourists come with their boats and charters. Buzzards are common here as there is lot of litter here dropped by tourists. Though it is annoying, it has become a permanent feature of these South American tours.

This place is famous for the lovely and playful dolphins that you can see on the waters off Comprida. Divers go berserk here and love to undertake underwater activities which reveal a magnificent growth below the sea. All the divers also pursue this activity just to see the shipwreck that has become popular in this part of the world.

The other island Laje da Cagarra is another destination for those who visit this region. This island faces the Copacabana fort and is the nearest island to the mainland. Visitors cannot easily access this place as the water is not easily navigable. There are innumerable shipwrecks here and thus not many visit this place.

Then you have the Ilha Filhote which is an island that is hidden by the Ilha Cagarra. There is a tiny natural water body here that occurs during the tides and disappears later.

The only way to reach the Cagarras Islands is to hire a boat, or take a reservation in the boat tours. These excursions generally leave from Marina da Gloria and take you around the Copacabana beach, and the Sugarloaf Mountain. These South America tours allow you to swim, hike and disembark and go round the island but do not provide you any accommodation facilities.

Some tourists and travelers look out for a place that is remote, tranquil and serene. They search for locales across the world which will help them to find the peace that they long for and the quiet life that they yearn for.

Amongst the many paradises in the world of tourism, the Isla Navarino certainly would fulfill the requirements of such tourists. With the most virgin surroundings and a terrific ambience, this is one place that would ensure that the traveler would not have anything to worry about and would give him the maximum satisfaction in this place which is tucked away in the corner of Chile in South America. Visit this zone in this part of the world and come back with a feeling of having dug out the best treasure from the bottom of beautiful paradises.

The landscape is dramatically magnificent here and the sea passages are exotic. There is a place called Puerto Williams which is a self declared town in this zone. The Isla Navarino is at the tip of the Chilean part of Patagonia. It lies to the north of the Cape Horn which is incidentally the southern tip of South America. This is incidentally the place where the Pacific Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean meet.

Isla Navarino is amongst those Chile Islands which is a paradise for all trekkers. It is the place where the trekker would get to see the most beautiful landscape and the most stunning scenic scenes. The island is in the middle and the hiking trails surround the entire region. There is a lot of high intensity adventure here and the water bodies around only add to the beauty. Yes, there are lot of streams and lakes dotting this region which give the overall experience a complete feeling. These streams trickling down the beautiful terrains of the mountainous region add beauty to the experience of being here in Isla Navarino – the pristine Chilean beach. It is said that Charles Darwin hiked here way back in the year 1832. Not much has changed since then and the landscape is still the same. Charles Darwin made his way here in the HMS beagle the British survey ship.

One can come to Isla Navarino by air. Puerto Williams is the nearest airport. You can take the ferry if you wish from the Punta Arenas. This lies around 215 miles away from his place. The ferry ride takes around a day and more and you could enjoy the scenic surroundings as you come down in this adventurous ride. Today many tourists however prefer to come here on a cruse. There are many cruises that are organized wherein you would have 100 passengers in each cruise. Tourists get to see the Tierra del Fuego and the Cape Horn in this cruise along with the Isla Navarino ina tour of the Chile Islands.

Isla Navarino is not only popular in the tourism industry but is also well known in the world of archaeological and anthropological arena. This is where it is believed that the remaining part f the Yahgan culture remained. Yahgan is a forgotten language today and has no connection with the other languages. There is single survivor of the tribe today and she lives in Puerto Williams in the Chile Islands.
